THE COMPANY
Sonic Steel Industries (Pvt) Ltd is a remarkable success story in the steel industry of Sri Lanka. With an annual capacity of over 25,000 metric tones, the country’s leading manufacturer, also innovates & distributes wire based products such as Plain Steel Rods, Nail Wire, Wire Nails and BRC Welded Mesh. With a renowned track record as one of the largest importers of Cold Rolled Steel Coils & sheets and Prime Electro Galvanized Steel Coils & Sheets in Sri Lanka, Sonic Steel upholds a strong SLS Product Certification for Nail Wire (SLS 7) and Wire Nails (SLS 8).
Established in 2000, Sonic Steel expanded within a short period of time from a simple home-grown trading company for wire rods and CR sheets to a fully-fledged steel factory in Sri Lanka and integrated manufacturing company, using modern solutions to confront traditional industrial problems and generate value for its various stakeholders. In 2002, the Company was registered as an industrial organization.

Being the pioneer and the only company in the market to produce both Plain Steel BRC Mesh and Ribbed Steel BRC Mesh to meet the spiraling demands of the construction industry, we generously invest in state-of-the-art technology whilst our business approach incorporates an inventive manufacturing process that incorporates high-speed nail making machinery for wire nail making and pneumatic machinery for BRC welded mesh making.
